Victoria wrote a letter to her teen self in which she advises her not to think so much about her appearance and warned her younger self not to mess with her boobs.
The letter was originally published by Vogue in September last year, and through it Victoria, 42, admits she regrets going under the knife and scolds herself for denying it. And she DID deny it, on numerous occasions in fact.
Embracing Our Imperfections
In her letter, Victoria wrote the following:
“Learn to embrace your imperfections. That is what I want to tell you. Let your skin breathe – wear less make-up (and don’t ever let that make-up artist shave your eyebrows! The effects will last forever).”
Then she went on to talk about the boob job:
“And I should probably say, don’t mess with your boobs. All those years I denied it – stupid. A sign of insecurity. Just celebrate what you’ve got.”
Sensitive Subject And Being Coy
Victoria has always been reluctant to even touch this sensitive subject. She has always been quite coy about whether her boobs are fake or real, although pretty much the whole world knew she had gone under the knife.
First time she touched the subject was in a 2011 interview with Vogue. The second time was 2 years ago with Allure Magazine, when she talked about an old photo showing her with more prominent boobs. Victoria said: “I don’t have them anymore. I think I may have purchased them.”
Now, she has apparently matured enough to share her innermost feelings regarding her looks and her decisions when she was younger. We applaud that.
