Top 15 Fanatically Religious Celebs

Though Hollywood has always been glamour-filled and best known for its residents being caught up in everything that is decadent, forbidden and worldly, there are some celebrities who claim they made a commitment to the higher power and swear to hold their values, despite their fame and fortune.

Sure, some of them may only be saying they are religious in order to make themselves look better in the eyes of the public, but there are stars whose actions actually do speak louder than words.

Can you spot the ones who are truly honest and deeply religious, and recognize those who simply give the word hypocrisy the new meaning?

1. Mark Wahlberg

The actor is known to have had major troubles with the law when he was a young lad, being arrested around 25 times by the Boston Police Department during his youth.

By age 13, Wahlberg had developed an addiction to cocaine and other substances, at 15 civil action was filed against him for his involvement in two separate incidents of harassing African-American children.

At 16 Wahlberg assaulted a middle-aged Vietnamese man using a large wooden stick, knocked him unconscious while calling him “Vietnam fucking shit,” and so on.

However, it appears that the actor managed to fight off his demons successfully as he got reborn and found solace in Roman Catholic Church.

Back in 2007 he showed that he takes his religion seriously when he displayed his bedroom to the Premiere magazine. Wahlberg’s bedroom reportedly contains holy water and a replica of a crucifixion art piece that stands at the Vatican. It appears that he keeps a bottle of holy water by the side of the cross so he can use the room as his own personal chapel whenever he needs.

Wahlberg attends church on a daily basis.

Catholicism is NOT Christianity. There is nothing even remotely Christ-like about the beliefs and teachings in Catholicism, it is an affront to God, full of falsities, blasphemies, and idol worship. There is no salvation outside of JESUS CHRIST, no matter what your denomination or religious beliefs. Catholicism is just one more false religion and RELIGION is one of the biggest problems this world has today. Having faith and a relationship with God has nothing to do with being religious, nothing at all.
Personally, I don’t care what you believe or don’t believe, because it’s your life and I can’t answer for your life… only YOU are responsible for YOU but I won’t argue with you or debate faith vs. atheism, etc. You are free to leave snarky replies to me but just know, I’m not answering any rudeness.
