Tiger Woods & Lindsey Vonn Split After 3 Years Together

May 5, 2015

Tiger Woods and, now, ex-girlfriend Lindsey Vonn have split up after three years of dating. According to the World Cup alpine ski racer, the break-up was mutual and the two simply couldn’t cope with their “hectic lives,” as she announced via her Facebook page.

“After nearly three years together, Tiger and I have mutually decided to end our relationship. I will always cherish the memories that we’ve created together,” Lindsey wrote and continued:

“Unfortunately, we both lead incredibly hectic lives that force us to spend a majority of our time apart. I will always admire and respect Tiger. He and his beautiful family will always hold a special place in my heart.”

Great Admiration and Love for Lindsey

The famous golfer also used social media to post official personal message announcing their split, in which he only had words of praise for Lindsey.

“I have great admiration, respect and love for Lindsey and I’ll always cherish our time together. She has been amazing with Sam and Charlie and my entire family,” said the golfer.

The former couple started dating back in 2012 after meeting at one of the many charity events Tiger attended that year, and the two clicked right away. This was Tiger’s first serious relationship since splitting from Elin Nordegren, with whom he has two children.

“We immediately clicked,” Lindsey stated for Vogue magazine back in August 2013. “It’s amazing. Life changes very quickly, in a very positive way, if you let it.”
