America’s favorite dad and pastor at one point, actor Stephen Collins, has reportedly been caught on tape admitting he molested three young girls!
A formal complaint has been filed against the beloved father and pastor on the family-friendly series “7th Heaven,” and the incidents are being investigated by the Manhattan Special Victims Squad.
A sad and shocking audio tape has been obtained, featuring 67-year-old Collins discussing three instances of child molestation.
On the tape, Collins is heard talking to former wife Faye Grant and to a therapist, about exposing himself to underage girls. One was 11 when he started, and Collins says it continued until she was 14. That particular girl is supposedly a relative of his first wife, Marjorie Weinman.
He said he saw that girl, now a woman, about 15 years ago and tried to make amends for his horrible actions.
The therapy is a part of a nasty divorce Collins has been going through with Grant, also an actress. When he filed papers in 2012 after 27 years of marriage, Grant was left feeling devastated.
Aside from his leading role in “7th Heaven,” Collins has appeared on “Revolution” and “The Fosters,” along with some guest appearances on “Scandal,” “The Office” and a bunch of other big-name shows.
“7th Heaven” originally ran 1996 to 2007. In addition to Collins, it raised celebs like Jessica Biel, Catherine Hicks and Beverley Mitchell to stardom.
