Once called Hollywood’s Golden Couple, that is until their five-year marriage came to an end in 2005, Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt are “ancient history” is anyone still had any doubts. And if you’re still worried about Jen, don’t be, because she definitely isn’t crying in her pillow over Pitt.

The 45-year-old actress spoke candidly about her love life, including her famous ex and her current relationship with Justin Theroux on a morning show.

Jennifer wasn’t surprised when she was asked about her divorce and the attention that it still generates, but that’s not a surprise either.

Before Brangelina, Pitt and Aniston for close to five years, in what was considered a picture-perfect Hollywood romance.

Their shocking split and his relationship with his Mr. & Mrs. Smith co-star Angelina Jolie which notoriously overlapped were highly publicized in 2005.

The exes have since moved on: Pitt raises six children with Jolie and he married her in 2014, and Aniston is engaged to actor Justin Theroux. Alas, the breakup remains a tragic moment in celebrity history.

The actress said: “I don’t find it painful. I think it’s a narrative that follows you because it’s an interesting headline. It’s more of a media-driven topic.”

When asked whether she still keeps in touch with her former 51-year-old husband, she replied: “We’ve exchanged good wishes and all that sort of stuff to each other, but it’s not a constant thing.”

As for her current relationship with Theroux, the Hollywood A-lister said she wants to keep that private. “We know what our truth is, and the rumors are all just static,” she said of her three-year romance with 43-year-old Theroux.

The award-packed actress is currently getting ready for awards season, where her role in the independent drama Cake is already getting plenty of attention.
