Pop-star Miley Cyrus has always had a thing for controversy. From riding wrecking balls to twerking and twisting her tongue, this celeb never fails to surprise us. On this occasion, she felt like discussing her love life and the difference between dating guys and girls.
While talking to Time magazine, Cyrus openly shared her thoughts about dating and love. As she claims, she was always the girl other girls wanted to ‘experiment’ with, while her experience in dating men has been rather unsatisfactory due to men being ‘overly macho.’
Said Miley: “That made me feel like I had to be a femme-bot, which I’m not. And then when I was with a girl, I felt like, ‘Oh s***, she’s going to need someone to protect her, so I’m going to need to have this macho energy.’ And that didn’t feel right either.”
She then explained how much easier it is to find someone for sex than for an actual relationship: “F****** is easy. You can find someone to f*** in five seconds. We want to find someone we can talk to. And be ourselves with. That’s fairly slim pickings.”
Although her choice of words might be offensive to some, we have to admit she has a point. Aside from not being comfortable with labels, Miley Cyrus is also a big supporter of the LGBT movement, which she does by promoting the ‘be yourself’ philosophy.
