Miley Cyrus Reveals She Had Relationships That Weren’t ‘Straight, Heterosexual’

Miley Cyrus’ love life has always been in the spotlight, and just when we thought nothing could surprise us anymore, the singer strikes again.

Namely, during her recent phone interview with the Associated Press, Miley revealed she’s had relationships in the past that weren’t “straight, heterosexual” ones. Unfortunately, the magazine stated that the controversial singer didn’t elaborate past that.

Gender Issues

The songstress did however have interesting things to say about her sexuality during another interview with Out magazine. While referring to Bruce Jenner as her “hero,” Miley admitted she has had issues with her gender identity.

“I didn’t want to be a boy. I kind of wanted to be nothing. I don’t relate to what people would say defines a girl or a boy, and I think that’s what I had to understand: Being a girl isn’t what I hate, it’s the box that I get put into.”

“It’s back to what I’m preaching in a way, you know, telling these kids,” she concluded. “I’m not just saying you be yourself and I’m going to go be Miley Cyrus. I’m saying I’m going to be my f—king self, too.

After the interview the singer posted a clip from the article on Instagram, captioning it: “NOTHING can/will define me! Free to be EVERYTHING!!!!”
