Lisa Kudrow Shames Sony Executives

December 15, 2014

During an interview, famous Friends alum actress Lisa Kudrow shared her though about the recent incidents concerning the leaked e-mails from Sony Entertainment Pictures executives.

The Web Therapy star slammed the executives and their words of choice about some of Hollywood’s biggest A-listers mentioned in the e-mails that leaked.

Kudrow had a very firm opinion: “How come I know you don’t write anything you don’t want broadcast in an email? How come I know that? Who’s advising these people? It doesn’t matter how many times an email says ‘This is confidential, meant for just between the sender and the recipient. Why don’t we know that there are no rules? Everything is broadcast and published. That’s the part I just don’t understand,” the Comeback star concluded. And she makes a good point.

Although Kudrow wasn’t a target in the e-mails, her fellow celebs and Hollywood heavyweights like Joel McHale, Jennifer Lawrence, Kevin Hart, and Aaron Sorkin got dissed, while racist remarks were made while discussing movies President Barack Obama may like.

The most slammed celeb has to be Angelina Jolie, who was called a “minimally talented spoiled brat.”

Following the hot mess of a situation which got the industry in a frenzy, Sony Pictures Entertainment’s co-chairwoman Amy Pascal, whose conversations with producer Scott Rudin leaked, said in a statement: “The content of my emails to Scott were insensitive and inappropriate but are not an accurate reflection of who I am. Although this was a private communication that was stolen, I accept full responsibility for what I wrote and apologize to everyone who was offended.”
