Kristen Stewart Talks About Sexual Labeling

August 13, 2015

People were never able to talk about their sexual preference as freely as they are today. We can thank many LGBT-like movements for this, but also an army of Hollywood celebs which are promoting gender neutrality and similar values.

Now, these celebs can proudly say that Kristen Stewart has joined their ranks. While giving an interview to the latest issue of Nylon, Stewart openly shared her opinion on sexual labeling.

Here’s what she said: “If you feel like you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it.”

Kristen continued: “But I am an actress, man. I live in the f****** ambiguity of this life and I love it. I don’t feel like it would be true for me to be like, ‘I’m coming out!’ No, I do a job. Until I decide that I’m starting a foundation or that I have some perspective or opinion that other people should be receiving…I don’t.”

It’s easy to see what the actress has envisioned. A society in which people can talk and hang out no matter their skin color, religion, sexual preference, etc. Although we’re getting close to this picture, there are still some stereotypes the general public needs to cross off its daily schedule before we can call our society ‘equal.’
