The Duchess of Cambridge revealed her due date while visiting the Brookhill Children’s Centre in London on Tuesday.
The Duchess has kept pretty private about her pregnancy, constantly ditching the “due date” question, but she couldn’t say “no” to Christine Osborne, a volunteer at the Children’s Center and a grandmother herself, when she asked Kate when her baby was due.
“I’m due mid-April, to the end of April,” Kate said to Osborne, adding, “Not long to go now.”
Osborne later said it was wonderful to have the Duchess visit and that she simply “couldn’t resist” asking Kate when the nation could expect their next royal baby.
“I told her she is beautiful and that she’s got a tiny little bump,” said the volunteer.
Kate’s kept a pretty busy schedule and on Monday handed out shamrocks to the Irish Guards during St. Patrick’s Day parade in Alderscot, England. The Duchess also revealed her last public appearance will be March 27, after which she will start getting ready for labor.
