‘He Monica Lewinsky’ed all on my gown’- Monica Lewinsky Corrects Beyonce

May 10, 2014

Former White House intern Monica Lewinsky who had an affair with Bill Clinton during the former US president’s administration, made reference to the “Partition” song by Beyonce in an essay for Vanity Fair.

The song is about a woman having sex with her man in the backseat of a chauffeur-driven car and it includes the lyric “He Monica Lewinsky’d all over my gown” – a reference to a blue dress worn by Lewinsky with a semen stain left by Clinton.

In an interview for the May 8 issue of Vanity Fair entitled “Shame and Survival”, the former White House intern says, “Thanks, Beyoncé, but if we’re verbing, I think you meant ‘Bill Clinton’d all on my gown,’ not ‘Monica Lewinsky’d.’”

Bill Clinton’s former mistress opened up about their relationship in a highly-publicized and controversial interview with Walters on 20/20 in March 1999.

Now 40, Lewinsky comes clean about her past saying she deeply regrets her sexual relationship with Clinton. Nearly two decades after making headlines, Lewinsky remains a pop culture figure by being mentioned in various artists’ songs, such as Eminem’s last year’s “Rap God.”

In 2014, her past still haunts her, with potential jobs in communications and branding destroyed due to the affair. Because of what potential employers referred to as her ‘history’, she was never quite right for the position.

So far there’s been no response from Beyonce. But something is expected to happen very soon.
