Jessica born on 3rd February 1982, Kansas City, Missouri, USA. Her birth name was Jessica Leigh Harp. Nicknamed as Jess. At the age of three she started singing, at the age of eight she started writing songs, at thirteen she picked up the guitar. She came out with her solo album Preface in 2002.

Jessica and her best buddy Michael branch started up with the band which was known as The Wreckers. Song The Good King of the album was featured in the soundtrack of One Tree Hill. The album Stand Still, Look Pretty was launched in May 2006 and the music video was came out for the song Leave the Pieces. Some of the releases of the Jessica and Partner were Preface (2002), Shanghai Knights (2003), One Tree Hill Soundtrack (2005), Stand Still, Look Pretty (2006).

Jessica appeared for the first time live game which was broadcasted by the NFL Network on November 2006, she sang the United States National Anthem before the Thanksgiving Day play between Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs. Duo The Wreckers also performed at the 55th Annual NHL All Star Game on January 2007, and sang the US national anthem. She also been broadcasted in The Tonight Show with Jay Leno as a celebrity guest for one episode on May 2006. And she also appeared for the Late Night with Conan O'Brien (one episode) on September 2007.

Wreckers were nominated for Grammy Award on December 2006 for the Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal, for the song Leave the Pieces.
