Born in Huntingdon, Tennessee on December 29, 1983. Andrews crept her passion for singer when she was in fourth grade. She was suppose to be a dancer, but with her sister suggestion she turned to singing. She kept on singing going by taking active party in shows, occasions, sang at fairs, and other local events. Byron Gallimore was the first to spot the talent of her beautiful voice.
James Stroud was the man who gave her the first chance, he was the head of Dreamworks Nashville he was amazed by her singing talent and offered her a record deal. Jessica seized the opportunity and and started working for her debut album Heart Shaped World, she was just sixteen at the time. Her solo I Will Be There For You, You Go First, and I Do Now which was also featured in animated movie Prince of Egypt soundtrack. The album also includes the Unbreakable Heart which became the biggest hit and scored #24 on US Country chart. Dreamwork was so impressed by her performance in her first album they immediately offered for the second album Who I Am, released in 2001, while this album climbed up to #22 on The Billboard 200, and the single Who I Am peaked #1 on US Country chart and # 28 on The Billboard Hot 100. After that she came out with Helplessly, Hopelessly and Karma.
Jessica is working with Dreamwork for the fourth album Ain't That Life, in between Dreamwork got dissolved somewhere in 2007 and the album left without completion. Jessica also toured with Faith Hill for the support her album. Jessica was awarded with Top New Female Vocalist at the Academy of Country Music in 2001 for her song Who I Am.
