Jesse Eden Metcalfe was born on December 9, 1978 in Carmel Valley, California, US. He is an American actor and model. Completed his studies from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts where he studied film and acting. He got a good sex appeal and also dropped out of the acting programme from the University for the role in Passion. He is well known from the show NBC soap opera Passions in which played a role of Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald.

Jesse also marked his presence from the ABC TV drama Desperate Housewives in which he was playing a role of a sexy gardener, he plays opposite to Eva Longoria, and show's debut was in 2004. He also appeared for some short role in the second season of the Desperate Housewives. In the same year he use to do the debut in movie John Tucker Must Die which was made under the banner of Motion Picture.

Jesse also featured in the video Let Me Go for the group 3 Doors Down which was also starring the actress Jodi Lyn O'Keefe.
