Stiller and Meara, most famous combinable. Jerry Stiller and his wife Anne Meara got name and fame from their work in Comedy Game in 1960 which was a hilarious and steady Television variety. Gerald Stiller was born on 8 June 1927, New York, USA. Studied in Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY and done BS in Speech and Drama in 1950. Jerry's acting debut was on stage in The Silver Whistle with Burgess Meredith in 1951. Jerry has performed and produced humorous commercials for radio with her wife, including advertisement for the wine Blue Nun. In 1997 he was nominated for Emmy Awards for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for Seinfeld. He also earned Ellis Island Medal of Honor in 2000. He launched his autobiography named Married to Laughter: A Love Story Featuring Anne Meara in 2000 and earned a Grammy nomination for the Best Spoken Word Album for the audio version of the book.
