Biography
Jesse Lee Rice, a football player by profession. Well known as Wide receiver for the team San Francisco 49ers from 1985-2000. Jesse play was well known for his touchdowns, all time leader in receptions and yards. He played for Mississippi Valley State when he was in college. He started his career in 1985 when he was picked as sixteenth in the 1st round of the draft by San Francisco 49ers.

Born in Starkville, Mississippi on 13 October, 1962. Rice held 13th National Football League records by 1997, which includes career yardage and career receptions. In 1997 he got seriously injured on his left-knee which was played with Tampa Bay in the season-opening and he also missed his next 13 games, he played consecutively 189 games before he got injured. Rice recovery was the most remarkable in the history which was played against Denver Broncos. In second round of the game got re-injured his knee and broke the bone of his kneecap.

Rice throughout his pro career use to wear jersey number 80, but with Denver he changed his number to 19. Which was previously wore by teammate Joe Montana, he moved to Kansas City Chiefs. Rice made a NFL-record for at least one pass in consecutive 274 games from 1985 to 2004.

In 1988 Rice was named as the Most Valuable Player of Super Bowl 23 for numerous Super Bowl records, which also includes most career points. He was also named as Pro Bowl for the annual in 1986. He bags 13 NFL records. He holds for NFL Player of The Year twice in year 1987 and in 1990. And in 1993 was named as NFL Offensive Player of the Year and has invitations for 13 Pro Bowl.
