Jerome Leon Bruckheimer was born in the year 1945 on September 21st. He is an American. He has made a good name in the field of production. He has produced some films as well as some television dramas. He is considered to be very good when it comes to production in the field of science fiction both on the television as well as in movies. He has also done some work in the field of action and thrillers. He has made several films which did well on the box office. "Pirates of the Caribbean" is one of those. He has also produced "Armageddon" and "The Rock". His best works on the television include "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation".

Bruckheimer belongs to a Jewish family. He was born in the Michigan area in the city of Detroit. His forefathers belonged to Germany. He is a well educated producer a she has earned a degree form the University of Arizona in Psychology. His earlier years were spent in Detroit but afterwards he moved to New York where he started working with an advertising agency. The job he was doing was not very creative. He moved to motion picture production a soon a he got a chance to do so. His commitments towards his career brought him to Los Angeles. He was always a person who wanted to do something nice in the field of photography and motion picture productions.

Bruckheimer worked as a co-producer in the decades of 1980s as well as in 1990s. Don Simpson was the person he worked with. The duo was very successful as they were able to produce some really good pictures together. "Flashdance" was the first major hit. They produced many more pictures together which include "Top Gun" and "The Rock". Simpson died soon after "The Rock" was released. He has continued to work on television as well as movie production after the death of his co-producer.
