Jensen Ross Ackles was born in 1978 on March 1st. He is one of the very famous actors of the television. He has worked in many television serials and series for which he is well known. Dark Angel and Supernatural are just to name two of them. He is considered to be one of the very hard working and full of potential performers of the current era. He has acted in a variety of plays up till now and he has almost always done very well in all of these plays.

Ackles father was also an actor. His name was Alan. Jensen's name was chosen by his parents because the name sounded unique to them. He spent his early childhood in the city of Dallas in Texas. He moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career as an actor. He started working as a child star. His earlier assignments were as a model child. He played some guest rules in few of the television serials of that time. He has been nominated for many awards for his outstanding contribution in the television series like "Days of our lives". Although his role in this play was a success but in the quest of more challenging roles he separated from the play in the year 2000. He worked in the series which was being made on the life of Marilyn Monroe. He also auditioned for some other roles and kept on with his acting career. In some of the plays he appeared in guest roles but due to the popularity of the role his character was added to the serial or play on long term basis. He worked in Dark Angel till 2002. He did "supernatural" in 2005. In 2006 he continued to work in the same play. There were certain minor changes in the play but still it went on. In 2007 he has worked in a movie which is called as "Ten Inch Hero".
