Jens Stoltenberg was born in 1959 on March 16th. He is basically an Economist who belongs to Norway. At present he is the Prime Minister of the country of Norway. Stoltenberg belongs to the Labour party in Norway. He has also worked as Youth League worker for almost five years from 1985 to 1989. He has worked for the Oslo division of the Labour party for three years starting form 1990.
In 1990 he started working as Junior Minster. Environment was his department at that time. In 1993 he became a minister and Industry was his field. As Finance Minister he started working in 1996. He became the Prime Minister of Norway in the year 2000 for the first time. Not all the prime Ministers in the world are remembered and respected for their tenure as a higher official because all of them are not capable enough to prove their mettle to the general public. He has been successful in doing so as he managed to move the whole nation towards making Norway a welfare state. The over all popularity of his party decreased a lot in 2001 and the results were not good for the party in 2001. In 2005 the part gained back its vote bank and after the success in the elections Jens Stoltenberg became the president once again.
Stoltenberg has it made it really big in the field of politics but it is no surprise for the people as he belongs to a political family. His father was a minister himself and her mother also was. He has two sons and he is married to a diplomat. Although he happens to be a very busy person but he gives all the time he has to his family. He is a very well educated and qualified person.
