Jennifer E. Chan is the original name of Jennifer Tilly. She was born in the state of California in the harbor city. Most of her early child hood was spent in Canada. She has two sisters and she happens to be a person who is very close to her family. She has made it really big in the world of acting and she is especially good with the voice over work. As she always had the wish to become a good performing actress, she worked very hard to attain the goal in her life. Her acting career started from theatre. At that time Jennifer Tilly was studying in College in the Missouri area.
Although she started off as a stage actress but she soon got roles in films. She formed to be a waitress who sang very well in the movies called "The fabulous Baker Boys" which was released in the year 1989. "Bullet over Broadway" was her very memorable movie as she got a nomination as the best supporting actress in that movie in the academy awards. In 1997 "Liar Liar" was released which was a big hit. She also played a role in this movie.
Although her acting career was going well till the time "Liar Liar" was released, this movie added a lot to her popularity. The actual turning point in her career as a performing artist was when she started giving her voice over. Her voice was used for the famous Tiffany doll in the Child Play's series. These movies brought a huge change in her career as the series was very successful land she got many chances to do voiceovers after doing this movie.
Tilly has performed well in Bound and Bella Mafia. She has worked as a less regular cast member in many other movies as well. She has also done a few comic roles.
