Hewitt was born in 1979 on February 21. She was born in Texas and she is a singer and an actress. Many of the roles she did on TV as well as in the movies are well remembered by people. "I know what you did last summer" movies are the best known movies in which she has played a part.
Herbert Daniel Hewitt was the father of this Star singer and actress. Her mother's name is Patricia Mae Shipp. Jennifer Love Hewitt spent most of her early child hood in Texas and lived there like any other ordinary child of her age. Her mother was a working lady and her father worked as a technician. The childhood became difficult when her parents divorced each other. It was difficult for the family as after the divorce her mother brought her up along with her brother single handedly. She has always been very close to her mother as well as to her only brother.
Although the early part of her life was spent in Texas but as she was oriented towards the career in performing arts, the family moved to Los Angeles few years later. She started of form Television. Initially she worked in few of the commercials which were run on the TV channels. This was not a big success but it was enough to give her a breakthrough chance to work as a child star in a variety program which was done by the Disney Channel. She worked for few other T serials after doing this one but not all of them were successful enough to run very long on the television. She came in the lime light again when she got hold of a role in Party of Five which was aired on Fox Television. Thi8s show changed the direction of her career as she got other breaks after performing well in this role.
