Jennifer Lopez, complete name is Jennifer Lynn Lopez, was born on 24th Junly, 1969, in The Bronx, New York City. Her parents are Puerto Rican Guadalupe Rodriguez and David Lopez. Her complete education was in Catholic Schools. She started working at the age of nineteen and also started financing dancing and singing classes for herself.

Jennifer Lopez has been married thrice throughout her career. Her first marriage was to Ojani Noa, which lasted only a year and a bit more. Her second marriage was to a back up dancer named Cris Judd which again lasted less than a year. She was about to get married to actor Ben Affleck, however it was found that he had spend the night before marriage at a strip club, therefore the marriage was called off.
Her third marriage is with Marc Anthony, they were married in secret and within a week Anthony got divorced from his wife. Jennifer Lopez is not known to have any children of her own as yet.

She started auditioning at several places in order to get a break. After several tries she was allowed a spot on New Kids on The Block as a backup dancer. Later on she also got a chance to work with Janet Jackson as a backup dancer. With Janet Jackson she was also in a video called 'That's the Way Love Goes'.
Even before Jennifer Lopez made her mark in the music industry, she had also made her mark on television and in films. Her film Blood and Wine with Jack Nicholson, got her a nomination for the Golden Globe Award, her other movies are Money Train, My Family, The Wedding Planner, Maid in Manhattan, Monster-in-Law, etc.
