Jennifer Connelly was born on 12th December 1970 in Catskill Mountains New York. Her parents are Eileen and Gerard Connelly. She attended St. Ann's School in Brooklyn Heights near Brooklyn Bridge where she grew up.

She is currently married to Paul Bettany, an English actor, she has a son named Stellan. Both of them met while the filming of A Beautiful Mind. However. She also had a relationship with photographer David Dugan with whom she has another son named Kai.
Professional Life of Jennifer Connelly
Jennifer Connelly started modeling after her father suggested it to her at the age of 10. She appeared in several newspaper and magazine advertisements. She did her first video Union of Snake by Duran Duran at the age of 12.
Her first movie was 'Once Upon a Time in America' where she played the role of young Deborah Gelly. Other earlier movies for her are 'Seven Minutes in Heaven' and 'Phenomena'.
She also did some of the other movies like Labyrinth, which did not turn out to be good at box office. She then acted in some lesser known movies until she got her most important breakthrough in the year 2000 with the movie 'Requiem of a Dream'. However, in the year 2001 she was the most successful in A Beautiful Mind which earned her an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
She has also acted in the movies Hulk, which did not turn out to be successful as expected and the next one was House of Sand and Fog.
