Jennie Garth, the complete name is Jennifer Eve Garth, was born on 3rd April 1972, in Urbana, Illinois. Her parents were John and Caroline. Before Jennie was born, both her parents had three children already from other marriages. Jennie took lessons in dancing when she moved to Pheonix, Arizona along with her family, later in order to pursue her acting career she moved to Los Angeles, California.

Jennie Garth's first marriage to Daniel B. Clark lasted only for a short period of time. She then married actor Peter Facinelli in 1995, whom she met while filming of the movie An Unfinished Affair'. The couple has three daughters named Luca Bella, Lola Ray, Fiona Eve. She has been quoted on marriage as being any other couple, she is also happy that they have a normal life, which keeps them together. Jennie Garth happens to be a vegetarian.

Jennie Garth never in reality wanted to become an actress. She in fact wanted to open her own dancing school after graduation. However, a talent scout who saw her win a talent competition encouraged her for becoming an actress. When she was in her Junior year at college she decided to drop out and move to Los Angeles to pursue acting. In Los Angeles she got her first role in a TV series 'A Brand New Life'.
However, she was better known for her role in the television series Beverley Hills 90210, where she played a character named Kelly Taylor, who is trapped in a love triangle, abuses drugs, was raped and many more events. Some of her other television serials are What I Like About You, Without Consent, Teen Angel Returns, A Loss of Innocence, Star, etc.
She has also acted in some movies namely, Power 98, Secret Santa, My Brother's War.
Jennie Garth's story was featured in the serial 'Chicken Soup for Teenage Soul'.
