Jenna Elfman her complete name is Jennifer Mary Butala and was born on 30th September 1971, to Richard Wayne Butala and Sue Grace. She has majored in dance from the Los Angeles County High School for Arts. She also studied acting at the Beverley Hills Playhouse from Milton Katselas.

Jenna Elfman's husband is Bodhi Elfman, whom she met at an audition. She is married into a family with a good film background since her father-in-law is Richard Elfman a director and Danny Elfman, her uncle-in-law is a music composer. Jenna Elfman has converted to the Church of Scientology. She is expecting twin babies in the spring of 2007. Jenna Elfman happens to be very tall and also happens to wear high heels, therefore ends up looking taller than her husband.

At the beginning of her career Jenna Elfman started with a lot of commercials before she entered the television. She started with television by doing guest appearances on the ABC Tv series like Roseanne, NYPD Blue, Murder One and one of the CBS TV serials Almost Perfect.
The short-lived series 'Townies' gave Jenna her good break, since she later got the chance to act in ABC sitcom 'Dharma and Greg' which made her extremely famous. The role also gave her a Golden Globe award and she was also nominated for the Emmy for this serial.
Jenna Elfman has also starred in movies like the EDtv, Keeping the Faith, Krippendorf's Tribe, etc.
