Jeffery Michael Gordon is an American race car driver. Jeffery Michael Gordon was born in Vallejo, California, and his family moved to Pittsboro, Indiana, where he completed his early education. He currently lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.
He has a record with four win at the NASCAR Winston Cup Series and also won the Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS/Impala SS. His races are sponsored by DuPont, although at times he drives for Pepsi-and Nicorette-themes.
Racing career
Jeff Gordon had an irresistible passion for driving and started racing at the age of five. He was always supported by his family to continue his passion. At an early age, Jeffery Michael Gordon had already won three short-track races and was awarded USAC Midget Car Racing Rookie of the Year in 1989. the next year, Jeffery Michael Gordon won the USAC Midget title. In 1991, Gordon moved up to the USAC Silver Crown and at the age of 20 became the youngest driver to win the title.
The year 1993 was lucky for Jeffery Michael Gordon as he won his first full season in Winston Cup for Hendrick Motorsports, and finished 14th in points. His success allowed more young drivers to compete in NASCAR. Many people, doubted the capability of Jeffery, but it was his consistent record that always gave him a push.
In 1994, he silenced his critics one more time by winning the Lowe's Motor Speedway in the Coca Cola 600, NASCAR's longest and most demanding race. Finally, in 1995, at the age of 24, Gordon won the first of four NASCAR Winston Cup Championships. In 2004, Gordon also became the only NASCAR driver with four Brickyard 400 victories at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and one of only five drivers to have four victories at the historic track.

Gordon married Brooke Sealey in 1994 and the couples divorced in 2003, making Jeffery pay $9 million to his wife as a maintenance allowance. He is currently dating Ingrid Vandebosch and is expecting their first child in early July of 2007.
