Jeffrey Lynn "Jeff" Goldblum is an American actor, immensely popular for unusual, and intense roles. He usually plays the role of eccentric scientists or comedians in his films. He is known for his unique appearance with a height of 6 feet 4 inches (1.93 m). he is called as a "tall, sexy whooping crane and is respected for his stuttered delivery of lines.
Early life
Jeff Goldblum was born in the Pittsburgh suburb of Whitaker, Pennsylvania. He is the third son of a doctor father and a radio moderator. He had passion for Hollywood and he left home at the age of 17 to pursue his dream. Goldblum started his career with wokring as an assistant at the renowned Neighborhood Playhouse under the guidance of acting coach Sanford Meisner.
He joined the Broadway theatre and his first debut was in the movie The Two Gentlemen of Verona. Jeff is also an excellent jazz piano singer, and his friends often declare that Jeff is more suited for music than acting!
Career
Jeff Goldblum had leading roles in films such as The Fly and The Tall Guy. Apart from these leading roles, he did a number of supporting roles that earned him a large number of acclaims. Goldblum's strong supporting roles include those in Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978), The Big Chill (1983), Into the Night (1985), Jurassic Park (1993), and Independence Day (1996).
Apart from films, he has also lent his voice for many commercials. US Apple, and the iBook, US Toyota commercials as well as Procter & Gambles facial cream line are some of them. He has recently appeared on Irish TV in commercials for the National Lottery. Jeff also teaches young aspirants the skill of acting and has also opened a small company for the same reason. He is also assisted by many other actors Robert Carnegie.

Jeff Goldblum has been married twice and has been spotted with over a dozen ladies after his divorce with Geena Davis, his second wife. Currently he is engaged to Catherine Wreford, a Canadian dancer.
