Biography
Jason was born and brought up in Southern California, USA, on 25th April, 1970. He attended Ocean View High School, Huntington Beach, CA, but never got cleared his graduation. He got good-looks, intelligence and humorous personality. Jason's ambition was to become a professional Skate-Boarder. He achieved good knowledge in skate boarding in his early age, and he used his skate boarding tricks in music videos also, well one in song "100%", Spike Jonze directed the video. He retired in 1996 from skate boarding he enjoyed the play for 7 years.
Jason debuted in 1995, for movie Mallrats. While Sonic Youth, a music video, was his first On-Screen performance. He was much popularized with his amazing 360 degree flip in skate boarding. In 2005, he played a gamble by introducing himself as a producer and star in small screen series My Name Is Earl, wrapped up with hilarious comedy and performances, it became very popular in sitcom. In 2001 Lee did Vanilla Sky in which Tom Cruise was his co-star. He is currently working in launching a movie in 2006 and two in 2007. Jason has lent his voice for the animated film "The Incredibles" in 2004 and also voiced for the movie "Underdog" which will be releasing in 2007.
Lee's other interest field was in art and he also run the Jason Lee Foundation for the Arts, which was inaugurated in 2001, it got a huge collection to display. His craze for skate boarding was so much that with help of his friend he started two companies one Stereo Skateboards and the other was Stereo Sounds Clothing, they were the twin companies. Lee achieved an "Independent Spirit Award" for the movie Chasing Army in 1997 he played character Banky Edwards. Jason won Golden Globe Award in 2006, for "Best Performance By An Actor in a Television Series- Musical or Comedy - Nominee". And the same was again he gained in 2007.
