James Franco Gossip

Biography
James Franco is an actor and artist. He has appeared in numerous high profile movies since the beginning of the twenty first century in solid leading roles. He is best known for playing the part of Harry Osborn in the "Spider-Man" movies, a character who is originally the best friend of Spider-Man's alter ego Peter Parker but becomes the enemy of Spider-Man, blaming him for killing his father (who was The Green Goblin).

James Franco was born in Palo Alto, California in the year 1978. His birthday is the nineteenth of April. James Franco went to the University of California, Los Angeles after graduating from Palo Alto High School; however, he dropped out of college after a year to become an actor. In 1999, James Franco found his first leading role on the comedy / drama series "Freaks and Geeks", about the social life of high school outcasts. The show did not last long but it has become a cult classic over the years.

In the early twentieth century, James Franco started appearing in leading film roles in movies such as "Whatever It Takes", "City By The Sea" and "Deuces Wild". He also played James Dean for a cable movie "James Dean" about the iconic American actor's life and short career. James Franco received his biggest break in 2002 when he was cast into "Spider-Man", which was a gigantic summer blockbuster and established an ongoing series of "Spider-Man" films in which he has reprised his role.

As of early 2007 James Franco continues to act in films. Some of his most recent appearances include parts in "Flyboys", "The Wicker Man", Tristan & Isolde", "The Company", and the soon to be released "Spider-Man 3", in which he is likely to play a larger role than before as his character Harry Osbourne turns into classic Spider-Man villain "The Hobgoblin".
