Biography
Jacqueline Bracamontes is a Mexican actress, television commentator and former model. She is best known for her victories in Mexican national beauty contests, becoming the 2001 winner of Nuestra Belleza Mexico (Miss Mexico).
Jacqueline Bracamontes was born in Guadalajara, Mexico in the year 1979. Her birthday is the twenty third of December. Her father is Jesus Bracamontes, a famous former soccer trainer, and her mother is Jacqueline Van-Hoorde. She is five feet and seven inches tall, and she has two siblings, Alina and Jesus.
After graduating with a degree in Communication Sciences, Jacqueline Bracamontes travelled to France and learned to speak French. When she returned to Mexico she began finding work as a fashion model. Lupita Jones, the director of the Nuestra Belleza Mexico contest and former Miss Universe, saw Jacqueline Bracamontes on a magazine cover and invited her to try to become Miss Mexico. After winning the beauty contests for her home state of Jalisco and the national title of Nuestra Belleza Mexico, Jacqueline Bracamontes went to Puerto Rico where she represented Mexico in the 2001 Miss Universe pageant.
The next year, Jacqueline Bracamontes started working in various television and film roles. She became a Vision A.M. sports commentator and launched a successful soap opera acting career. She has appeared in many of the most popular telenovelas in Mexico over the past five years, including "Rubi", "Alegrijes y rebujos" and "Heridas de Amor". Other Mexican TV shows that Jacqueline Bracamontes has appeared in include "Complices al rescate", "Entre el amor y el odio", "�Vivan los ni�os!", "La Hora Pico: El reventon", and "La Fea mas bella".
As of early 2007 Jacqueline Bracamontes continues to appear frequently on Mexican TV as a well known telenovela actress and hostess / presenter. She will appear in the upcoming film "Cuando las cosas suceden", which is currently in post production.
