Izabel Goulart was born in Sao Carlos, Brazil in the year 1984, one of a family of seven children. Her birthday is the twenty third of October. Izabel Goulart was encouraged to model at a young age by a hairstylist who discovered her when she was out grocery shopping with her mother. The first time Izabel Goulart appeared in a fashion show she was involved in an embarrassing incident; her bikini started to slide off her body without her realizing it, completely exposing her breasts by the time she walked to the end of the runway. The next day news of the incident were all over the media in Brazil. However, Izabel Goulart went on to great success in her modeling career. Represented by the "1 Model Management" fashion modeling agency, Izabel Goulart has appeared in numerous fashion magazines including "Vogue", "French" and "Numero". Photographers that she has posed for include David Sims, Greg Kadel, Vincent Peters and Terry Richardson.
Recently, in the years 2005 and 2006, Izabel Goulart has been in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. She has recently appeared on the "Conan O' Brien" TV talk show in the United States, where she told Conan O' Brien that she watches his show every night and that she looks for a "funny guy" like him.
As of early 2007 Izabel Goulart continues to work in the international fashion modeling industry. Her favorite designers are Betsey Johnson, Marc Jacobs and various Brazilian designers. She enjoys cooking, bowling and spending time with her boyfriend.
