Inna Zobova is a model. She is the former Miss Russia and became a professional model full time after competing and placing well in the Miss Universe pageant.
Inna Zobova was born in Kimsky, a suburb of Moscow, Russia in the year 1976. Her birthday is the first of October. Her father was a civil aviation worker and her mother was an engineer. Inna Zobova's childhood was hard because she grew up mostly in the tundra of Siberia, and also because she had a hole in her heart from birth which was not repaired until age six. Her childhood dream was to be a ballerina, but she grew too tall. She studied psychology and anthropology at the University of Moscow, modeling at first as a part time job only.
Inna Zobova started competing in beauty contests and in 1994, at the age of eighteen, she was crowned Miss Russia. She also competed in the Miss Universe pageant that year and placed close to the top in the Best National Costume part of the pageant. Two years after that Inna Zobova moved to Paris to pursue a career as a fashion model, and signed up with Viva Model. Over the next ten years she would work extensively in the fashion industry, appearing on magazine covers and on the catwalk at high profile fashion shows. Magazines that Inna Zobova has appeared on the cover of include Elle, Vogue, Allure, Marie Claire and Glamour. She has appeared in fashion shows for top designers such as Valentino, Dior, Vivienne Westwood, Armani, Thierry Mugler, Sonia Rykiel, Givenchy, Hermes, Yves Saint Laurent and Mario Testino.
As of early 2007 Inna Zobova continues to work in modeling. She lives in Paris, France with her boyfriend Bruno Avellan, a television producer. While she continues to appear in various modeling work all over the world, her best known recent job has been as the spokes model for Wonderbra, which she was selected as in late 2002.
