Hulk Hogan is a world famous professional wrestler with World Wrestling Entertainment, he also stars in his own reality show, Hogan Knows Best.
Hulk Hogan, born Terrence Bollea, was born in Augusta, Georgia on August 11, 1953. He has three siblings. As a young man, he attended T.R. Robinson Senior High School and later attended the University of South Florida and later Hillsborough Community College in Tampa, Florida. He dropped out of both schools. Hulk Hogan began playing bass with several local bands in Florida, and while doing that caught the eye of Jack Brisco, a professional wrestler. Convinced to go for a career in wrestling, he began training.
His first match was in 1977 where he competed as himself. Soon after, he donned a mask and began performing as The Super Destroyer. He went through several more name changes before settling on Hulk Hogan. He has held twelve World Championship belts with the World Wrestling Federation and World Championship Wrestling. His signature moves include the atomic leg drop, the axe bomber, the big boot and the Hogan Shuffle.
He quickly rose to stardom and began to cross over into film and television. In 1982, he co-starred in Rocky III and in 1989 starred in No Holds Barred. Other movie roles included Mr. Nanny, Santa with Muscles and 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain. He also starred in his own television series Thunder in Paradise in 1994. He had his own cartoon for several years in the mid-1980s. He also released an album Hulk Rules. He also stars in his own reality show Hogan Knows Best with his family.
In 1983, he married Linda. They have two children.
