Hudson Leick is an actress who is best known for her roll as the warrior woman Callisto on the television series Xena: Warrior Princess.
Hudson Leick was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 9, 1969. Upon graduating from high school, she left Ohio for a modeling career. Her first modeling job was in Japan and for the next few years she continued to model internationally before turning her focus on acting. She was part of the Neighborhood Playhouse Acting School in New York City.
In 1994, she received her first starring role, on the short-lived Aaron Spelling drama University Hospital. She also appeared in episodes of Melrose Place and Tru Calling. In 1995 she was case as the recurring character, evil Callisto, in Xena: Warrior Princess. She played the role until 2000. She has also appeared in Law and Order and CSI episodes.
In addition to television roles, Hudson Leick provided the voice for Jennifer Tate in the Primal video game.
Hudson Leick enjoys hiking and yoga. She helped launch the Healing Heart Yoga Center, Inc. in Los Angeles. She is a yoga instructor there. In addition, she is active in the James Ellis Foundation, a charitable organization, and is a regular at Xena fan conventions.
