Horace Grant is a former basketball player who is a four time world champion. He and twin brother Harvey Grant both played in the NBA

Horace Grant was born in Augusta, Georgia on July 4, 1965. He played basketball at Clemson University where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. In 1987 Horace Grant became the tenth overall pick with the Chicago Bulls drafted him.

In 1989 the Bulls traded power forward starter Charles Oakley to the New York Knicks, and Horace Grant became the next starting power forward. Teamed together, Scottie Pippen and Horace Grant were a fearsome duo. Following Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant was a great scorer for the Bulls. He also became their main rebounder, helping Chicago to three consecutive NBA Championships in the 1990-91, 1991-92 and 1992-93 seasons. Horace Grant was also chosen four times to the NBA All-Defensive Team.

In the 1993-94 season, Horace Grant helped the Bulls get to the second round of the NBA playoffs before being beaten by the Knicks. He left the Bulls after the season for the new Orlando Magic team. In 1995, the Magic and Grant reaches the NBA Finals but were beaten by the Houston Rockets. In 1999 he was traded to the Seattle SuperSonics. After one year in Seattle, Horace Grant was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers won the NBA Championship that year (2000-01 season). He left the Lakers in the off-season for a trip back to Orlando and the Magic. He was later cut by the team.

In 2002, he retired from basketball, but returned for a brief stint with the Lakers in 2003.
