Hoku is an American singer and actress. She is most famous for her popular hit song "Another Dumb Blonde".
Hoku was born Hoku Christian Ho in Oahu, Hawaii on June 10, 1981. Her father is Don Ho and her mother is Patti Swallie. She used to sing in his show. Hoku has one sister, Kaimana Grace. She showed an early interest in music and her debut single "Another Dumb Blonde" appeared on the soundtrack for the film Snow Day. It also logged time in MTV's Total Request Live Top 10.
In 2000, Hoku released her first album. The album was made popular when the "Another Dumb Blonde" single was picked to be on the soundtrack for Snow Day. One year later, she recorded the single "Perfect Day", another song that was picked up by a film. The song was featured in the Reese Witherspoon hit Legally Blonde. After being featured in the movie, the song was picked up for television advertisements with J.C. Penney and Sandals Resorts. A third album will reportedly be out in 2007.
Hoku lives in Orange County, California but travels often to Hawaii where she continues to perform in her father's Don Ho Show at the Waikiki Beachcomber Hotel. She is married to Jeremy Clements.
