Hitomi Yoshizawa is a Japanese singer and is best known as the leader of Hello! Project Groups Morning Musume and futsal team Gatas Brilhantes H.P.

Hitomi Yoshizawa was born in the Saitama Prefecture of Japan on April 12, 1985. In 2000 she became a member of the Hello! Project group Morning Musume. She made her group debut with the single "Happy Summer Wedding. She was also featured in the groups Pinchrunner release. In 2001 she had her first lead single, "Mr. Moonlight" in Ai no Big Band. She became the leader of the group in 2005 when former leader Mari Yaguchi left the lineup. She will graduate from the group in 2007 after the groups last performance in the Sexy 8 Beat Spring Tour. Her last performance is slated to be in her hometown. After leaving the group she will likely strike out on her own as a solo artist.

Hitomi Yoshizawa is also the captain of the Hello! Project futsal team Gatas Brilhantes H.P.

In addition to singing, Hitomi Yoshizawa has appeared in television and film roles. In 2000 she was cast in Pinchrunner. Roles in Tokkaekko, Koinu Dan no Monogatari and Motto Koiseyo Otome followed.

Hitomi Yoshizawa loves to shop and email her friends. Her favorite foods are Udon, Soba and tomatoes and her worst fear is snakes.
