Heidi Klum was born in Bergisch Gladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany on June 1, 1973. Her face has graced the covers of many of the well known fashion magazines including Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire. In addition to fashion magazines, Heidi Klum has been featured in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and Victoria's Secret. In addition to modeling, Heidi Klum has guest starred on television series in the United States. Spin City was her first guest starring role, followed by a feature on Sex and the City. Film roles include parts in the movies Blow Dry, Ella Enchanted and The Life and Death of Peter Sellers. In addition to television and film roles, she has been featured in several music videos and is a character in the 2004 James Bond video game Everything or Nothing.
In 2004, Heidi Klum became the host and judge of a reality show called Project Runway. She has received Emmy Award nominations for the television show. She also hosts Germany's Next Top Model.
Heidi Klum is also an artist and designer. Her infant clothing line is featured in the German catalog Otto. She has designed shoes for Birkenstock as well as jewelry and her own swimsuits. She also has two perfume fragrances.

Heidi Klum married Ric Pipino in 1997; they divorced in 2002. She has a daughter from another relationship and in 2005 married musician Seal. They have two sons.
