Harry Judd is an English musician, he is best known as the drummer in the British pop band McFly. The group rose to fame when the former Busted band invited them to tour in 2004. Other McFly members include Tom Fletcher, Dougie Poynter and Danny Jones.
Harry Judd was born in Chelmsford, England on December 23, 1985. He attended the Uppingham School. Charlie Simpson, an ex-Busted band member attended the same school and was friends with Harry's brother Thomas. After completing his education, Harry Judd joined the group McFly, a British pop band, as their drummer. He has also appeared as a drummer in a Busted video for the song "Crashed the Wedding" released in 2003.
Harry Judd is a self-taught drummer and can often be found listening to some of his favorite bands including The Who, Simple Plan and the Beatles.
In addition to drumming, Harry Judd is involved in charitable causes. He founded a charity called Rupert's Fund. It is a leukemia foundation. Harry became interested in the cause when a friend was diagnosed with the cancer as a teenager. Tough his friend recovered, Harry Judd was deeply affected by what happened to his friend. In addition to Rupert's Fund, Harry Judd has participated in other charitable causes. In 2006 he was part of Sport Relief's "All Out For India". A team of celebrities traveled to India to help raise money for children.
