Biography
Eddie Kay Thomas is a movie and television actor who is best known for his role in the series of "American Pie" comedy films. He appeared in all three of the first "American Pie" films, has appeared on Broadway, and has starred in a few commercials and a music video.

Thomas was born on October 31, 1980, in New York City, and he began acting at the young age of seven, when he won his first stage role. By age ten, he was appearing in stage productions with the Brooklyn Shakespeare Company, including "Richard III." He attended New York's Professional Children's High School before making his television debut in "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" in 1994. He then appeared in several episodes of "Law & Order" before landing his first movie role in "Illtown" before joining the cast of "The Rage: Carrie 2" and "Black and White," a controversial film with Robert Downey, Jr. and Jared Leto.

Two years later, Thomas got his breakout role of Paul Finch in "American Pie." This lead to many new roles, including "Off Centre," "Freddy Got Fingered," and "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle." He has also appearanced on shows like "CSI," "The X-Files," and "America Dad!" As of 2007, Thomas stars in the sitcom "'Til Death" and is set to appear in "Harold and Kumar 2" in 2008.

Besides his film work, Thomas has appeared in the music video for "flowing" by 311 and in commercials for Nike and Snickers. He has also returned to the stage, appearing as Peter Van Dann in the revival of "The Diary of Anne Frank" with Natalie Portman. In 2005, he appeared in the off-Broadway production of "Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead." Thomas currently divides his time between homes in Los Angeles and New York.
