Biography
Eddie Cibrian is an actor who got his start on soap operas and other prime time dramas as well as appearing in several movies. He was named to People Magazine's 100 most beautiful people list in 2006, and in May of 2006 was named "Most Beautiful Man" of the month on mostbeautifulman.com. He has also been ranked at number 2 on the Sexiest Soap Hunks of All Time list.
Born in Burbank, California, on June 18, 1973, Cibrian is the only son of a Cuban couple. While he would eventually end up as an actor, that's not where his career path began; instead, he studied business and economics at UCLA, and he even played football during college.
He began his career by guest starring on "Saved By The Bell: The College Years" in 1993, and shortly after that, he landed his first major role on the soap opera "The Young and the Restless," a role he would play for two years. Cibrian originally auditioned for a different role, but while the producers felt he was too old for the part, they were so impressed by his talent that they created another character just for him.
After leaving "The Young and the Restless," Cibrain starred in a number of different television series, including "Sunset Beach, "Tilt," "Third Watch," "Invasion," and, most recently, replaced Gail Harold as the star of the Fox series "Vanished." However, Cibrain only appeared as the lead character on "Vanished" for one episode before the series was canceled, although the remaining episodes were released online for fans.
In addition to television series, Cibrain has appeared in a number of movies, including "Living Out Loud," "But I'm a Cheerleader," and "The Caves." Cibrain has also been cast as the character of Jason Austin in the remake of the British television drama "Footballers Wives."
Cibrain is married to Brandi Glanville, and the two have one son, Mason Edward. When he's not in front of the camera, Cibrain works with a number of different charity organizations, including the Make a Wish Foundation.
