Duncan Chow (originally born Duncan Lai) was born on September 19, 1978, in Hong Kong, China. He began a career in modeling and windsurfing, but he eventually changed career to acting, and he would go on to become a popular figure in Taiwan.
Chow started his acting career at a very young age; in fact, he appeared as the infant version of Bruce Lee in the movie "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story." He then gained fame in Taiwan from staring in several Taiwanese television shows. He would later go on to star in the movies "Formula 17" and "Seven Swords," which cemented his fame as a Taiwan movie star.
After his first appearance in "Dragon" in 1993, Chow spent years as a fashion model and as a professional windsurfer. He then choose to return to acting in 2001 and make it his main career. He has starred in six movies sense: I Do (2001), Leaving in Sorrow (2002), Love Me If You Can (2003), Formula 17 (2004), Seven Swords (2005), and Shoe Fairy (2006). He has also appeared in several Mandarin films and Taiwan television figures.
