David Michael Navarro was born on June 7, 1967 in Santa Monica, California. His father is James Raul Navarro and his mother is Constance Colleen Hopkins. Her mother was a model. Navarro's mother and father divorced when Dave was seven. His mother got killed by her boyfriend in 1983. The murderer was arrested in 2004. This was a very dark period in Dave's life. When it comes to marriage, Dave does not seem to know what he is doing. Dave Navarro has been married three times. He was married to his first wife in a pagan ceremony in 1990. He was married for the second time to Rhian in a civil ceremony in 1994. In 2003, he married model and actress Carmen Electra. They got divorced in 2006. Lately, there were rumors that Dave was dating porn star Jenna Jameson although Dave denies this. Dave's life got into a lot on controversy when he admitted to experimenting sexually with other men. Although he admitted this, he also stated that he knows that he is not gay. He was not aroused when he experimented with other men. When he was asked about whom he would prefer to experiment sexually with, it would be Johnny Depp or Paul Sez. Navarro has had a lot of drug problems especially heroin. The highlights of Dave Navarro's career in music came as a guitarist and a drummer playing in the band Jane's Addiction from 1987 up until the present. Releases where he was part of included Jane's Addiction Live at the Roxy, Nothing's Shocking, Ritual de lo Habitual, Live and Rare, Kettle Whistle, Strays, and the latest Up from the Catacombs. He was also a part of the band Deconstruction in 1994. He played for the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1995. Dave also has some solo releases like Trust No One in 2001.
