Daphne Zuniga was born on October 28, 1962 in Berkeley, California. She graduated from Woodstock Union high school. While she was a struggling actress, she shared a house with Meg Ryan, one of the more popular actresses of her time. Daphne is best known for her role as Jo Reynolds in Melrose Place from 1992 to 1996. Most of Daphne's movies were in the eighties though. During her acting career, she starred in Vision Quest in 1985. Her co star in that movie was Matthew Modine. She also starred in the movie the Sure Thing with John Cusack. Daphne starred in the film Modern girls in the year of 1986. She was a lead in one of the funny movies in the eighties, Spaceballs, in 1987. In 1989, she starred in the film Gross Anatomy. Two of the recent appearances of Daphne are in Artificial Lies and Pandora's Clock. Her acting career aside, Daphne Zuniga is one of the people in this world that loves eating sushi. Sushi is her favourite food. She used to eat four to five servings of sushi every week but when she was diagnosed of Mercury poisoning, she had to stop eating all her favourite food. This Mercury poisoning affected her career because she suffered some form of memory loss. Imagine trying to memorize lines in a movie and you end up forgetting them during the take. That would be such a hassle for the director. She had constant headaches and she also had depression due to this. After consulting with many doctors all around the world, Daphne Zuniga decided to stop eating sushi. In order to address her Mercury poisoning, Daphne drinks a lot of protein shakes rich in Glutathione. Despite such setback, Daphne still finds time to enjoy life. In Daphne's spare time, she enjoys riding her motorcycle around the area. She rides a Harley Davidson.
