Biography
Daniel Radcliffe was born on July 23, 1989 in Fulham, London, England. He has long wanted to be an actor but the dream did not materialize not until in 1999 when he had the opportunity to audition for a British TV Versions of "Oliver Twist" and earned the role of the young Copperfiled in " David Copperfield" which became his first film role. Still, this is far from what he was destined to be.
Radcliffe's claim to fame happened in 2001 with the movie "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone". It is a story about a young wizard from the popular series books by JK Rowling.
The film won the hearts of not only kids and young teens as well as adults. From that time on, Radcliffe became one of the best known young actors in the movie industry. Due to the success of the first film, Radcliffe, revived the role for Harry Potter in the sequels "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" (2002), "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" (2004), "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)"
"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" is the second highest grossing film among the HP series and the highest grossing film of 2005. It was noted that it grossed over $102 dollars in three days after it was released and has earned over $892 million worldwide.
