Biography
Dana Plato, an actress with a short life but she had lot of worst and good experiences. She experienced early success in her life as a child star but that only was found out to be her pitfalls. She was born on 7 November, 1964 in Maywood, California. She was addicted towards drugs and alcohol early in her life.

Dana's adoptive parents guided her in acting. Child artist, she did nearly hundreds of TV commercials which also included commercial for KFC, Arco and Dole Bananas. Her stars shined earlier when she was offered for the main role in "The Exorcist". Dana's stardom still reaches to its heights when she was noticed by a producer when she appeared for a The Gong Show on TV. She was offered for the character Kimberly Drummond, in Different Strokes. She received lots of fame and fortune, during the show's primetime run, and show was aired for eight years till 1986. She married to guitarist Lanny Lambert in December 1983. After 1984 season she was fired from Different Strokes due to pregnancy. She also gave shots for Playboy edition in 1989. Well this doesn't get much success to her career. Dana was sent to jail in January 1992 for armed robbery case at video store in Las Vegas, than she sentenced for 5 years imprisonment but got out on bail with help of Las Vegas singer, Wayne Newton. She also sent for 30 days imprisonment for forging Valium prescriptions and parole violation.

Dana, after the stages of imprisonment, she stepped into low graded movies such as Bikini Beach Race (1992) and Compelling Evidence (1995). She was also introduced in a video game named Night Trap (1992). Dana died on May 8th 1999, her death was also be mystery, evidence says that it was due to drug over dosage and Robert Menchaca her fianc� was also once said to be guilty for her death.
