Dana Welles Delany, born 13 March, 1956 in New York City, brought up in Stamford, Connecticut. Came from well known family, Dana's grandfather discovered Delany flush valve, new technology used in toilet flush valve. After the divorce between her parents Dana moved to Virginia with her father. Dana completed her graduation in Philips Academy and Wesleyan University. She started screening on television as well in movies in mid-1980. Debuting in Moonlighting, on television, and in movie which is "A Winner Never Quits".
Dana fetch the honorable fame and get noticed by playing army nurse character in China Beach(1988). She was nominated for a Best Actress Emmy every, and won twice. In early 1990's she had a remarkable success which was great to achieve in her career, she did special appearances on Cheers, The Larry Sanders Show, and also in the short series Wild Palms, movies she starred was Housesitter (1992), Tombstone (1993), Exit To Eden (1994) and Live Nude Girls (1995). After the huge success, Dana career shows a marginal level of achievements in television, movies and on stage. She also kept her hands in producing TV movies as Final Jeopardy (2001) and Open House (2003). Her career profile lowered much since mid-1990 and her fame got affected too, but she stayed in public lime light by doing some talk show to encourage her assignments. And also did a small come back role on short-aired serial, Presidio Med.
