Biography
Daisy Fuentes is a Cuban-American model and was one of the most visible MTV stars of the mid-1990s. She once again shot to fame by appearing in infomercials for Winsor Pilates.
Early life and Relationships
Daisy Fuentes was born on November 17, 1966 in Havana, Cuba to a real estate broker Amado Fuentes and Maria Fuentes. When Daisy was three years old, the Fuentes family
Daisy Fuentes studied communications and journalism at Bergen Community College, and was selected as "weather girl" on WXTV. Daisy Fuentes soon became a news anchor and reporter for the evening news.
She married Timothy Adams in 1990, who is an established actor. He was a high school sweetheart and they divorced in 1994. Presently she is with Luis Miguel who is a singer, whom she met in 1991. As is the custom of Hollywood marriages, it soon ended and Daisy Fuentes is now dating Matt Goss.
Career
When Daisy Fuentes started working as a news anchor, she soon got publicity with her looks and charming nature, and the television audience took a liking to the talented and beautiful 19-year-old reporter.
In the year 1988, she moved to work as news anchor at WNJU Channel 47, and then as a host of MTV International, which later became MTV Latino.
Her works include the hosting of the Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve '98; The 1998 World Music Awards; the 1999 Billboard Latin Awards; as well as Miss Teen USA, Miss USA, and Miss Universe pageants.
While her skill and beauty, she has achieved huge broadcasting success. She has joined the stage with other well known models like Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford and Halle Berry. Daisy is also a worldwide Revlon spokes model.
Hollywood
Daisy Fuentes also tried her acting skills on the big screen in the 1996 in the Quentin Tarantino film, Curdled, but did not recive good reviews. She is still opne to offers and would gladly like to do some more films that interest her.
Apart from her professional career, she is quite active in several charitable causes, especially St. Jude Children's Hospital.
Her career events are owe mainly to her appeal, wit, brain, and gorgeousness, which are reasons for which Daisy and her career will only persist to flourish.
