Coolio, whose birth name is Artis Leon Ivey Jr., was born on 1st August 1963 in Compton, California. He came to fame because of this hit song Gangsta's Paradise, from the album Dangerous Minds.
Career of Coolio
Coolio has starred in several television shows. He has done guest appearances in hit a hit comedy serial called 'Charmed'. Coolio has a wide ranges of voices therefore he was also offered a professional job of doing the voice over job. He has also acted in some movies like the Dracula 3000. For another television series Kenan and Kel he has performed a theme song which stars him for most of the time.
He was also one of the contestants for the TV series 'Celebrity Fear Factor'. He also participated in another reality TV show called' Celebrity Bootcamp', where he won the competition. He has also made an appearance in the television series 'Joey' in its second season. He has also appeared in another reality series on television called the 'Celebrity Paranormal Project.
