Conan Christopher O'Brien was born on April 18th 1963. He was born and brought up in Brookline, a suburb in Boston, Massachusetts. He has done his Bachelor in History from the Harvard University, Magna Cum Laude.

Conan O'Brien is married to Elizabeth Ann Powel January 12, 2002. She happens to be a copywriter by profession. He has two children, daughter Neve born on October 14, 2003 and son Beckett born on November 9, 2005.
Career of Conan O'Brien
Conan O'Brien was a writer even when he was doing his graduation from the Harvard University. He wrote for the University magazine, Harvard Lampoon, a humor magazine, he also became the magazine's President during those years for consecutively two terms.
He was hired as a writer for the TV show 'Saturday Night Live', in 1988, where he wrote sketches for the show. This show eventually won Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Comedy or Variety Series.
Conan O'Brien was a also a writer for the TV show 'The Simpsons', where he wrote five episodes. He replaced David Letterman for the late night show called 'Late Night with David Letterman' and was later called 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien'. The show earned him a lot of criticism since he did not seem to be very comfortable with himself on the show. He looked very nervous and awkward and therefore, in order to accept this criticism, an animated version of him was shown before the show which showed him wiping the sweat off his brow. After some episodes when Conan O'Brien gained more confidence the animated version was altered to show a new him.
He has also appeared in a film ' South Park, Bigger, Longer and Uncut', O'Grady, Robot Chicken, etc. He is said to have been selected by NBC as a replacement to Jay Leno of the Tonight Show.
